BASIC NETWORKING CONCEPTS
–Computers are able to communicate with each other to convey human message – if
the right tools are given.
–What
are the concepts and fundamental of a computer network.
–Data
communication principles that are very similar to any form of ‘communication’
system around us.
NETWORKING COMMUNICATION MEDIUMS
–Communication
medium is essential for a computer communication to take place.
–There
are various types of digital communication systems/ applications around us that
either connected with guided or unguided media.
–What
type of media that would be more popular in the future.
TYPES OF NETWORKS
•Besides
knowing the network coverage and medium, there are also other ways to classify
computer networks
•How
LAN differs from WAN and the reasons for using them.
•Different
architecture associated to LAN.
•There
are ways to improve a computer network either a LAN or WAN type.
•What
are
the characteristics or peer-to-peer and server-based network.
